I have been in three public shooter situations before the age of 16. I was in two of those before I even got to high school. I lost someone I loved due to this violence. I do not feel empathy for someone who actively blames people like me, my black siblings, and anyone else but the yt supremacists causing these crimes. And I will not listen to anyone asking me to have empathy or act like he did not die by the very laws he justified, helped promote, and swore by. Up until his last moments he was blaming trans and black people for the things that are happening in this country. I will not have empathy. We are in a state of great violence and distress. What happened to CK is a direct result of the world he helped build. He died by the very violence which he deemed necessary. He died by the very violence that I have seen that he has done nothing about. And he died by the violence that he ignored the US committing overseas. I will have no empathy for him. Frankly I find it ridiculous that those of us most affected by his bigotry are being asked to hold space for him. Any of you asking for people to hold space or act on some moral high ground because you believe violence cannot save us, I ask you this. Did you believe that the revolution would be bloodless?
