I feel like she’s got elements from every album. Some songs are more 1989, some more rep, and she’s thrown in a couple of really nice lyrics that are midnights/folklore. Stylistically i think it sums up a lot of her stylistic choices and adding inspiration from other artists like Sabrina.

my friend was telling me about the album and sent me this, and objectively it’s not a very good album 😭 it’s okay to enjoy the music AND be able to admit it’s not great. music can be quite personal and subjective, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s ‘poorly rated’ or ‘underrated’. this is coming from someone who does enjoy a lot of objectivity bad music,, i think some people don’t understand the nuance in regards to that 😭🙏
