‼️I struggled for a long time with distorted negative thoughts about my self tapes. When I watched them, I would essentially just bully myself and call it being “realistic”😭 now after going through my program, The Performer’s Perspective, I know the difference between constructive criticism and straight up being a jerk to myself. Yeah I can still see what I need to work on and there is always room for improvement…but I can also acknowledge what’s going well/ what I like, which helps me 1. Keep doing those things and 2. Stay more positive (or even just neutral) while trying to pick a take.
