This happened to another family and they let the grandmother take care of the second baby and she killed that one too.

She served 3 years. They are serving an emotional life sentence for losing their child.

There was a real case where a grandmother let a grandchild die and it was an accident years later they had another child and after begging and begging the FIRST time they let the grandmother take the granddaughter to lunch with her friends, when she got home she left her in the car and the 2nd grandchild dies. I can’t believe the heartache - I am pretty sure the first one was a drowning like this story.

Honestly, MIL’s getting the ‘worst grandma’ award, but can we get a plot twist where she saves the day in part 3? 🤔

Shes not sorry. she doesn't believe she did anything wrong. You need to get a restraining order.

My mom is a family law attorney in Texas and grandparents rights are pretty much nonexistent if parents are the legal guardians. My mama actually rolled her eyes at that part. I hope this family is able to get away from this evil narcissistic MIL/grandmother and fully heal.

I think a grandparent without a criminal record can go get “grandparents rights” at least my late mother in law said that to me when she thought I would keep my kids from her.. now I wonder if grandparent rights are actually a thing.

Reminds me of the story of that granny who looked after her grandchildren and she did it TWICE. With both kids. First one she fell asleep & the baby went to the pond💔 2nd child I don’t remember

Grandparents’ rights don’t work that way. They address protecting established bonds when the parents die or are divorced. They allow good grandparents to protect established relationships. She is responsible for the death of one and has never met the other. I would get a restraining order against her.

There is a things called grandparents rights but the parents have to been defective that they need to step I. The courts don’t force visitation for grandparents especially neglectful ones

Grandparents rights isn’t a thing. They’re going to have to tell all the schools and other extracurricular things that grandma isn’t allowed to pick up the kid. They’ll need to remind them regularly. I just know she’s going to try and kidnap from school.

I had the best babysitter for all my three kids and she was my most amazing mother-in-law. She risked her own life on many occasions for my children and I will forever be so thankful to her for that. May her soul rest peacefully.🥺🥺🥺
