![📣14.4 MILLION acres of federal public lands across Arizona are flagged as land that could be sold as part of a budget reconciliation bill that’s in the Senate. This proposal is the most extreme land sale plan we’ve ever seen, and it stands a real chance of happening with no oversight. Once it passes, there are limited restrictions on which USFS or BLM parcel included. Some of the most treasured trails and scenic views in Arizona are on the map released this week of land that could be sold. What’s extra crazy about these maps for Arizona are just the absolute insane places they’ve included as potential sell off areas. 90% of Devils Bridge trail? The entirety of Schnebly Hill Road? These are some of our busiest spots in Sedona. And you may think - but they’ll never do that. Just think though - these spots are SO desired and busy. Corporations would LOVE to snatch these spots up to sell access to the wealthy few. 📞NOW is the time to call your Senator and tell them you strongly oppose this sell-off! Even if you don’t live in Arizona, if you’ve EVER visited Sedona and admired Cathedral Rock - CALL. I’m calling to urge Senator [Last Name] to vote NO on the Big Beautiful Bill—or any bill—that includes provisions to sell off our public lands. Our public lands are not for profit. They support local economies, wildlife, and a healthy environment. Once they’re gone, we don’t get them back.
