people are still getting goverment assistance my stamps come in this saturday. It isn’t affecting any government assistance because everythings pre funded. BUT if they don’t get it sorted out it WILL start affecting people in the long run

so whenever the government becomes active again employees are usually paid for the hours they worked while it was shutdown but also not always from my knowledge

I still get my asst and stamps as of rn and ppl who get ssi ik still get their payments. On the flip side a ton of govt workers aren’t at work though but like air traffic and everything that helps the powerful institutions that helps money run and authority etc are still at work just not getting pay. They are probably going to use this to permentsnlty fire and cut the govt sadly bc doge wasn’t successful
