to the people looking for the cubes: Aldi also sells peeled whole cloves by the jar, if you can't handle peeling your own garlic. Ginger stores quite well whole, just grate or slice as you go. Basil is my go to because I cannot keep a basil plant alive and the frozen is a decent - not great - sub but still better than dried.

Those herb cubes are fabulous! I love the garlic ones cause they taste so much better that the kind in the jar and I never have just cloves available
