this hit me like a ton of bricks. i lost my mama when i was 16 (in 2004, she was 35) and I lost my daddy in Jan 2024. i am extremely broken and dont want to always talk about them because i feel like people get tired of listening, so i suffer in silence a lot. 😭💔

I completely feel this. I think about my best friend Brett everyday still, and he passed in 2020. I always find ways to bring him up in conversations, and it is so true, because thinking about him keeps me here. His saying was “be brave,” and I have to remind myself that a lot. Thank you for being vulnerable. 🫶🏻

I lost my best friend, my sister, and it will be 29 years this Sunday. Grief changes almost constantly. It also changes who you are. It’s absolutely true that it never gets better, you just learn how to live with the pain and loss and the void in your life. But also remember this, the love between you always exists as long as you are here. That’s how they continue to live on within you. 🩷 hugs and love! I totally get it!

I wish I would have remembered his laugh. One creator had said that they miss their friends laugh and it hit me like a ton of bricks.

I love when you talk about her. It’s like we get to have her here with us, but through your words.
