We love a good glow up video right? I can’t believe I’m going on YEAR 4 this summer since starting my shuffle journey. Time freaking FLIES you guys! 🥹 I just want to tell you… it’s never too late to start. I didn’t start shuffling until 27. Everyone that inspired me had been doing it FOR YEARS and were all at least 4 years younger than me. But I started because it brought me joy. It was fun. It lifted me up and was the one dance style that made me really connect with the music I love (EDM duhhh hehe). I remember seeing other established shufflers on this app thinking — I could never do that. I could never dance like that. I could never look like that. My confidence definitely wasn’t innately in me. I had a lot of limiting beliefs. Self doubts. And comparing my day one to someone else’s day 1000. But I just started. I started because it was fun. I started because it made me happy. I started because I loved the feeling of being a beginner again and trying something new. I had NO idea it would take me to where I am today almost 4 years later. NO CLUE. Honestly I couldn’t even have dreamt this up 😅 but the universe always has a plan for us. Anyways — I wanted to share as a little dose of inspiration for you to START. Start shuffling. Start that podcast. Start your business. Start your YouTube channel. Start singing. Start dancing. Just START. It’s never too late. Trust me. You get ONE life on this earth. You never know what’s gonna happen by just following your joy and silencing the inner critic. I believe in you. And if there’s one piece of advice I can give you…. DOCUMENT from the beginning. Document before you want to post or share. Document for YOU. Trust me. You’re gonna want to look back and see your progress and celebrate that growth of how far you’ve come 🫶🏽
