@ao.cross.training: “But the Bible is hard to read” - No it’s not. It’s a book with words in it. This isn’t meant to be aggressive, but in Love it is an open reminder. We make time for what we think it’s important. You want to hear from God, but you’re not in His word daily? God may speak in other ways of course - but, if you’re biblically illiterate how will you test it to know if it is even from Him? How will you discern HIS voice over your own or the voices of the world? The best way to know God, to learn about God, to learn from God, to understand who God is to read the Love letter He left us! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not better than you. I have dry spells. I have days where I wake up late and I don’t get it done before the business hits and time slips away. So this is just as much a reminder for me as it is for you! We NEED to be in the word! Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is alive and active.
