We have to talk about it!👀👀🌱🌱🌱 Things I would tell you as a plant based mom if I wasn’t afraid of hurting your feelings⬇️ 1. Stop giving your kids foods with artificial dyes. They’re toxic to the body and banned in some countries. Dye-free candy exists and it doesn’t need to be vegan to be healthier. 2. You can’t expect your kids to love healthy food if you never model eating it yourself. They copy you more than they listen to you. 3. Protein is not your biggest worry on a plant based diet. Most people are fiber deficient, not protein deficient. And don’t forget being actually hydrated! 4. Vegan junk food is still junk food. Just because it’s labeled “plant-based” doesn’t mean it nourishes your family. 5. Stop thinking “healthy eating is too expensive.” Processed snacks, fast food, and Starbucks runs cost more over time than beans, rice, and veggies. 6. Your kids don’t need cow’s milk for strong bones. They need calcium rich plants, not another species’ milk. 7. If your child is always sick, it’s time to look at their diet and not just blame “bad luck” or school germs. 8. Supplements don’t replace whole foods. A gummy vitamin isn’t going to fix a diet built on processed snacks. 9. If you think your kids won’t eat vegetables, it honestly may be about how you prepare and present them not the vegetables themselves. Give them variety and textures! My daughter has her days when she wants sweet potato, so it’s a hit or miss, but she loves it oven roasted versus mashed. If you need help with just starting a plant based meals for your kids and don’t where to start. Check the link in my bio for my mini cookbook ebook bundle with recipes like my daughter’s favorite quinoa kale fritters, blueberry pie smoothie, pink apple dippers! 🥰 Like this video & share it to your story for another plant based mom! 🌱
