@jaimefiler: 🧠 5-Minute “Pre Bed Brain Dump” Journal Prompt Step 1️⃣ (1 minute): Dump it out. Write every single thing that’s floating in your head — work, laundry, texts you need to reply to, the thing you’re mad at yourself for not doing yet — all of it. No censoring, no order. Get it out of your brain and onto paper. Step 2️⃣ (1 minute): Circle what actually matters today. Look at that messy list and circle 1–3 things that truly need your attention in the next 24 hours. Everything else can wait. Step 3️⃣ (1 minute): Cross out what’s not yours to carry. What on that list belongs to someone else, or to “future you”? Cross it out or write “not mine right now” next to it. Physically seeing what’s not yours gives your brain permission to exhale. Step 4️⃣ (1 minute): Ask yourself one grounding question: “What’s the kindest thing I can do for myself right now?” Write down the first thing that comes up — even if it’s “make tea” or “go outside.” That’s your next step.
