NTA because she is being selfish. She's thinking about herself and not how it's going to affect her children or her husband. She's not making a big salary that's going to be worth it. No paid relocation. Uprooting your kids is tough enough...I don't know sounds like she just wants a divorce. A new life. I get careers are important but at the expense of her whole family?! Yikes.

Y’all are absolutely tripping. Wife can’t just make a decision like that? It’s not just about her, they have a family and husband has a career too. Y’all are so quick to make men the bad guy when he has very reasonable concerns. Relocation in children hits them hard too

She has felt invisible for a while and this “opportunity” makes her feel valuable and seen. He should celebrate it like a win, but then logically (together) recognize that its doesn’t pan out as a benefit for the family.

YTA. Wife puts her ambitions on hold so the husband can establish his career but when the wife wants to get back to work, it never happens cause of whatever XYZ excuse he can come up with. it's manipulation to keep her financially dependent on him so she can't ever feel comfortable to leave.
