Definitely go on the longest walks possible! My friends all forced themselves to do 4-5+ mile walks with uphills (painful) but it really put them into labor the next day

Cervical checks are pointless when not in labor because you could be 3 cm for weeks or go from 1 cm to in labor in an hour.

I got checked at my 39 week appointment, I was also about 1cm dilated but started feeling crampy later that day so did curb walking and did what we did to get preg multiple times🤣 anyways, had my baby less than 48 hours later LOL

sometimes they’re just stubborn lol my baby girl was 1 cm for 3 weeks and even after induction/getting my water broken she didn’t drop at all 😭 she wanted to stay in there so bad

I got 5 membrane sweeps and nothing 😭 I was so frustrated. Went on a long walk and did mini sprints and my water broke 12 hours later

Your body's never done this before! Totally normal to not be dilating more quickly than you already are. Get that membrane sweep!!!

Had my stretch and sweep on a Friday. Walked 2 hours everyday and then went into prelabour on the Tuesday which was my due date. Then had her Thursday morning. But I also went to the hospital at 7cm dilated 🤍

Walking! The day I went into labor with my first I walked literally all day after my appointment up hills in my neighborhood and then bounced on the ball all evening and bam! 💥

I took my toddler to the zoo, with LOTS of walking/hills, the day before my son’s due date (was also day I had an induction scheduled) and ended up going into labor early morning and he was born 6 minutes before my scheduled induction! lol Def think the walking put me into labor
