Flight Attendant here! Leave most of the gimmicky things behind and bring whatever “medicines” will help you sleep . Dress comfortably! Bring an extra water/snack. A true long haul flight will provide a cheap headset and pillow/blanket. That eye mask could be good if you know you’re a head bobber BUT I don’t know if would still work if you make the headrest a “U” which is invaluable if you’re in a middle seat.

As someone that travels a ton— all those are gimmicks and get annoying to carry. Get yourself a good travel pillow and some sleep gummies and dassit! lol

Tried the headrest pillow on an 8 hour flight, wasn’t very comfortable to stay upright like that for so long :/

The travel pillow is amazing. I used it on a 12 hour flight and I sleep really good.
