@euro_anna: Why are we wasting our time talking about burgers? 🍔 With everything else going on in the world, you would think the European Parliament would have better things to do than debate whether a veggie burger is a burger. What’s next, is a hot dog a sandwich? This is all because of pressure put on by the Meat Lobby. They want to squeeze out innovative protein alternatives in favour of the status quo. If we really want to help farmers we should be promoting new food technologies and getting them better contracts. Let’s work on the stuff that matters and not identity politics for burgers. Because a burger by any other name would still taste as delicious.
