Bring to a boil, let it boil for about 30 seconds, then reduce the heat to a simmer 3. Let oats simmer until they get super thick (I usually wait 1.5-2 hours 4. Bring back to medium/high heat 5. Add egg whites while whisking (if you don’t whisk, you will end up with scrambled eggs in your oats) 6. Whisk until it thickens 7. Enjoy 1 serving = about 380 g 102 calories 4.6 carbs 0.6 fat 18.1 protein ✨ the oats don’t taste like much! Add vanilla, maple syrup, honey, cinnamon, or whatever spices speak to you to liven up the flavor. I don’t add anything to my base recipe, but I do add about 200 g of honey crisp apples with cinnamon + 30 g of peanut butter!
