I do similarly too! I buy these disposable plastic bags from Amazon and when finished with each service, I use the same bag to store the dirty brushes. Brushes come home, get washed, bag goes in trash. I wish I could avoid the plastic but then either way dirty brushes need to go in some trash bag 😬

I could be wrong but wouldn't keeping them in a plastic bag potentially increase the risk of mould/bacteria? Like if they were even 1% damp after being cleaned between clients.
