You can’t withdraw more than 500k weekly from the bank, you can’t withdraw more than 100k weekly from POS with the new rule, ATM won’t dispense regularly, there’s not enough cash to go around, POS agents in a good location like Bus stops can’t do more than 1.2m a day anymore. Effect: Customers with cash-related businesses would now struggle to survive, agents that employ workers would have to fire them because they can’t use multiple POS anymore, If moniepoint network fails, you can’t use OPay to attend to waiting customers, and you have to pay 20% tax (approximately) to the government inspite of this. And I see people in the comments section praising the government. All I can say is the government is beating a baby because there’s corruption in the production of baby food formula. Tackling corruption from the wrong source isn’t good governance, it’s bad plutocracy 😏

No jobs and the little means by which many Nigerians use to feed themselves daily is about to be taken away from them. Nigeria is a country where the Government fights you for fighting to survive. How many POS agents make up to 500k transactions daily not to talk of 1.2m ? Mind you I'm not saying some don't make transactions that are above 1.2m daily but majority don't make up to that.
