I took a criminal law class in college (paralegal major) and the law Professor told us that most criminal lawyers know that their client is guilty but it’s their job to make sure they fat a fair trial

The defense attorney would still be presenting argument in a way that knowingly and intentionally misleads the jury and misconstrues the facts. In any other context this would be considered lying.

so then we should be seeing lots of attorneys recuse themselves on all kinds of trials when their client takes the stand in their own defense and blatantly lies and their attorney knows it...yet..they never do.$$$$

So suppose they just say they murked the person but dont tell you the manner or time would you not have to recuse yourself?
