should of seen the incline 20 years ago. when it was illegal. it was a death trap, rebar sticking out of the ground, steps 4 feet tall. yet 100s still did it everyday

What's the point? :
It's too bad that in the eighties of big rock somehow rolled down and wrecked the tracks for the incline , it was cool to go up on it , it took you of just up part way , but it was really awesome

thank you so much for sharing those old pictures. I've never seen those before. I've done the incline four times, three times before the new refurbishing and once after. it is definitely a rough climb but still a beautiful view from the top👍👍

We used to take out of town guests up the incline. The seats were tilted back- you’d be leaning back at the start and then straight up as the tram went up the steep parts.
