@blueprint.alabama: This is what the shutdown is about. Republicans don’t care if health insurance costs skyrocket. Democrats do care. #alpolitics #shutdown

At this point…… just let it happen. that’s the only way they’ll learn….. well, actually they won’t. The right will just blame biden, like always….. and these states will believe it, and vote for it all again.

If Dems win, GOP will take credit like they have done with Biden’s infrastructure bill. Dems are horrible at messaging. They should have allowed the maximum pain per Project 2025.

Democrats fighting even for those that never vote for them. If they were to open the govt., and the high insurance rates kick in, the Republicans will blame Drmocrats and those people would believe them.

My heart goes out to the vulnerable but Americans voted for this harm. Maybe people should experience the consequences of voting for this or those who didn’t vote at all. Maybe it will motivate people to vote differently in 2026 and 2028.

They thought he cares about them. Here is an idea sign one of those EO’s ordering healthcare companies from raising premiums.

Americans have already been slapped in the face with the tarrifs. Now medical could be the back hand. It’s time for Americans to be taken care of.🤔

Republicans want to privatize healthcare insurance folks! That’s why they are making it unaffordable

Lorislifehacks :
When Obamacare ACA was originally written tax subsidies and tax credits were for those making $50,000 or less. 400% of the poverty level or lower. That’s the formula. But during Covid and then extended into the infrastructure bill were tax credit and subsidies for EVERYONE in the program, no income limit😳. Those were set to expire the end of 2025. Republicans want to return it to the pre-Covid levels of $50,000 or less. They did say they were willing to negotiate and raise that considering inflation. I would be for 75k or 85k or less. The majority of Middle, Upper middle class and upper class do not need tax credit and subsidies to fund their insurance.
