Interesting! About two months back a driver pulled up at a petrol station I was stood outside and he asked me to keep an eye on his vehicle while he popped inside because his Scania was broken and they’d told him not to turn it off 🤣 … maybe it’s a bigger Scania issue

Happened to me on a Sierra XR4x4i backing the 90's. If the barrel hadn't have collapsed I could have turned it to position 2, pushed a release pin on the column and pulled it out...But oh no, I had to drill down the barrel with increasingly larger drill bits until it collapsed....Pain in the backside and metal shavings everywhere...
