@moneycoachdave: How does your retirement savings compare to your peers? Using data from Empower, here’s the median retirement savings by age for 2025. Since these aren’t averages, these numbers aren’t skewed by outliers. While helpful to understand how your retirement savings compares to your peers, please don’t use these as a measure of success. Unfortunately, most Americans aren’t on track to retire and this data is proof. #retirement #retirementplanning #retirementsavings #PersonalFinance #financialliteracy
56 and more than all of those numbers combined, but I’ve been extremely fortunate.

63 in top 1.5%, now retired, pulling 2.6% from 2 of my 4 investment accounts leaving the others to grow untouched. My daughter now married age 31 is over $1M and poised to be financially independent by age 38, investing 60% of their combined income, living below their means! The reality is anyone can do this, but it requires discipline and consistency!

Do these numbers match the 401k numbers? Or are they higher? I’ll have to go back and check that 401k one.
