I did nothing when he was little. I’d just tell him to get out. He would literally sit inside of the refrigerator, on the little “lip” until someone moved him. Now he’s 12, and his favorite spot is on the couch with his dog.

You can get combo fridge locks on Amazon. Put the code in, hold button in, and pull the cord out. Get what you want. Close it and put the cord back in.

lol sorry don’t mean to laugh.. but I see these latches, but my grandson 6 now but at the age of 3 my daughter tried all of em n he found a way to get in there.. all he wants is grapes.. he could live on grapes if he was given the chance

I have children safety locks on the fridge and mini fridge... but it's just a standard fridge without an ice maker... so it's easier to place the type of safety lock we got... but we had to put 2 on both for the fridge part and the freezer part...

We have the one with the 2 doors and it has a gun lock on the handles that uses a key to open. So older kids can still get in as needed. Haven’t found a way to keep the freezer drawer locked. He breaks them or figures out how to open them. We also use a gun lock with key on the pantry doors.

There is stuck on (some magnetic) straps that I've seen a few people use. You push the button and slide it out.
