understanding the film ≠ it being good to be honest as someone who hasn’t played sports seriously the themes were very easy to understand it just wasn’t a good film and the only thing people who liked the film can defend it with is “the people who say they didn’t like it don’t understand it” 😭

i wish the climax was longer or earlier in the film to give more of a conclusion. plot was good, but the execution was just kind of choppy.
