My theory is! that he is alive.. because Mugman was hallucinating right? we saw it, I think he probably got saved in time.. though Mugman did say he couldn't see his soul so uh probably he already got saved? while Mugman was just hallucinating?... for the banner it probably won't continue if the cuphead is dead or if he WAS truly dead maybe there's a part where he gets revived with some sort of something btw... or if he isn't alive I guess we'll have alot of angst of Mugman grieving
