This! It’s also how automation should have been implemented. Let machines and “ai” take care of the boring stuff and allow people to be creative. Imagine if for every machine a company installed to replace workers they payed all their people more. Or payed more tax. Let a whole company turn machine only and all the saved money get put to every other person in that country. Make working optional.

to add on about useing Ai for cancer detection. they have done a study with oncologist ability to spot cancer when useing ai and it showed that after 6 months of using Ai the oncologist where worst at detecting cancer on thier own compared to pre Ai usage.

I've even seen medical professionals talk about how they see that these kind of ai helpers with tumor identification doesn't actually help because the people that work with it pay less attention because the ai will get. so oftentimes around the same amount of mistakes are made as before

Chat GPT has helped me with my PC a few times when I was absolutely stumped on what to do. But AI should never be your first resort. I didn’t ask Chat GPT until I tried literally everything I could find. It’s a useful resource, but it’s just that. A resource, not a replacement for your critical thinking.

I'm a teacher. made an answer key for a quiz and just quickly answered them all in my head and wrote it down in less than a minute. a student was shocked that I didn't use ai to make the answer key and give me the answers.

THIS it would be so tempting to send this to my ethics professor, every class he talks about using AI to do stuff for class/homework... it's against the college's policy to use AI, it feels disheartening that he encourages chatGPT and similar AI when the class he teaches is supposed to be about ethics

I do use chat gpt but not in a lazy way. I use it to ask questions about things that are hard to find the answers about myself. And then when I have the words, I go looking for more info.

I'm pro ai but 100% agree with you. AI should be doing the boring stuff so we can do the art. I'm even okay with a little art, but it should be seen Asa new medium not replacing existing artists
