I got a steam mop instead of using chemicals on the floor. it's worked wonders.

I use a steam mop with a little vinegar and I'll never go back! it sanitizes, cleans and makes it ten times easier to clean stuck things including grease. it doesn't leave residue either. I use a Bissell steam mop. it makes cleaning faster and it's cat friendly and it dries quickly so you don't have to stay off the floors to wait for them to dry.

vinegar, while it stinks, is amazing at cleaning and sanitizing and is safe to be around pets and cheap as hell (also great at cleaning glass, better than windex ong) and once it's evaporated vinegar doesn't smell.
