I moved here from northeast Ohio and I don't know how to describe to my queer friends back home just how much *safer* it feels, and I really think it's like you said, here in confident we'll stand up for each other, and no one is taking any shit from anyone! happened to takeover a lease in Pilsen and have been so grateful for this incredible community to raise our kid in. I'm angry for my friends who are scared to go to the park with their freaking kids for fear of ICE kidnapping.
