I'm gonna be so honest, Taylor has never cared about social issues or about making a difference. The only reason she decided to go political during Miss America is because she was dating Joe Alwyn and he was very into activism. Any activism she has done has been performative. I say all this as a fan who has listened to her music for decades. I love her music and while I don't think she's downright evil, she is very out of touch and disconnected from real life issues. As a person who is a literal billionaire with so much influence she doesn't do nearly enough for the community.
