@moneycoachdave: Is it time for an increase? Believe it or not, the federal minimum wage in 2025 is still just $7.25 an hour. But that’s not the case for these states. These are top 10 states with the highest minimum wage! What do you think minimum wage should be? #minimumwage #wages #salarytransparency #salary #costofliving
notice how these states all cost an insane amount to live in, too?

Minimum wage not livable wage. That should not be the standard. I love how people are striving to make minimum wage. You all realize that corporations want higher minimum wages right to put mom and pop shops out of business because we can only afford that for so long

everyone wants minimum wage to double but nobody wants the costs of their goods and services to go up either. cant have it both ways. if minimum doubles from 10 to 20, then that blue collar worker who was already making 25 needs to be making 50. now all your services are going to double in price.

If minimum wage was to increase at the same rate as inflation it would be $10.91 so let’s go with $10.91.

That’s great for sales jobs for McDonald’s Jack-in-the-Box Taco Bell. It’s overpaid these jobs with no ambition. Why should you pay more therefore high school kids seven bucks an hour is fine. Don’t make asking if you want fries with that your career. It’s a bad choice.

you can raise minimum wage to $75 nation wide and prices will go up with it. so pointless raising it I wish they would stop.

Yeah raising minimum wage won’t help. People need to improve themselves to get a higher paying job. Otherwise prices will just increase with the minimum wage.

There should be no federal minimum wage. It should be a state issue. Also all these states have extremely high cost of living.

Minimum wage should be calculated based off of how much someone would pay for food, shelter, utilities, water, car, health care, and insurance. If companies want to pay their workers less they need to take care of anything on the list provided.

The minimum wage should be $0/hour. The federal government has no business telling consenting people they can't work for a small amount.

The issue isn't what the minimum wage is because once any states raise it (as seen in many examples, like California) the business owners just pass the cost onto the consumer anyway...there needs to be some other solution atp

Federal minimum wage doesn't help anything. Bring back the "maximum wage" tax

$30 an hour and then have it tied to both inflation and average cost of living in each state.
