I respect your opinion. however, I think Will Graham from NBC's Hannibal would not be able to prove it in a court of law. my rationale: he figured out who Hannibal was and how he killed people, but he could not prove it in a court of law. (spoilers, he even got framed for the murders himself he was so bad at proving it!) He failed to do so with his own story's killer, so I think it would also apply to death note
