It really does just come down to looking plain and boring for me. Fenrir is also a tumble lock key instead of a skeleton key but Fenrir has more going on with the wraps and stuff. Rikus needs some more flair

BraveHearts shows that Riku has matured. hes not an edgy teen anymore. its also more reminiscent to Terra's key, which he bequethed.

for me, Braveheart just comes out of nowhere. we don't see how Riku gets it. Just, old keyblade broken, here's a new one with no explained significance.

almost like them being in the form of a key is the point lol not like it's in the name or anything. I like his new one. His keys evolved as his darkness faded, why Way to Dawn was half light half dark since he still was norted. He is the protector of the series, he saved Sora many times

I liked it with the idea of it being based on a car key because it showed his literal journey. He went the furthest into the darkness and back into the light of any of the keyblade wielders so a vehicle key makes a lot of sense to me
