@featrmedia: What if we made okonomiyaki a little bit more Filipino? Since we have an abundance of fish like Japan, we added some yapot fish that we got as a pasalubong from Sorsogon. Check this out! 🐟 YAPOT OKONOMIYAKI Ingredients: Batter: 1 cup all-purpose flour ⅔ cup water + ¼ tsp patis/fish sauce 1 pc egg Filling: 1-½ cups chopped cabbage 3 tbsp chopped pickled ginger ¼ cup chopped green onions ½ tsp salt ¼ tsp pepper ¼ cup chopped crispy fried yapot (dried fish) oil for cooking Toppings: mayo okonomiyaki sauce chopped fried yapot katsuobushi (bonito flakes) seaweed flakes chopped spring onions Procedure: 1. Combine flour, water, and egg. Fold in the cabbage, ginger, and green onions. Season with salt and pepper. 2. In a pan with hot oil over low heat, add ½ cup of the mixture. Add chopped yapot. Cover the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes. 3. Flip the okonomiyaki and cook for another minute. Place onto a plate and garnish with mayo, okonomiyaki sauce, katsuobushi, yapot, seaweed flakes, and spring onions. Makes 4 servings. #fyp #featrmedia #okonomiyaki #yapot
