vallila is pretty cool but it is too dominated by the large mäkelänkatu running through the middle to be a proper city neighbourhood. kallio is much nicer in this regard.

I lived in Vallila 80-90’s. And love it then. It was much more original at those days. Now it is wayyyy too trendy for me.😅 My Mom still lives there.
