we weren’t that RICH rich, but life used to be comfortable. we could afford things. and it hits me harder that my sibling had all the chances, and when it was finally my turn, everything changed. suddenly, money started to matter. my dad still has to work hard in his old age, and i always try to save up while im in college. my mom’s side of the family still supports us sometimes, and maybe that’s why i kinda hate it when people try to help me. i don’t like that feeling. i just hope one day i can bring those good days back

i came from a family of mid upper class, to somehow rich, then pandemic happens, we became lower mid class or may be poor? until now. i don’t wanna talk about it, but thanks for sharing : ((( we can do this 🫂

We lost our home — my grandparents’ legacy — because of my mom’s actions. I grew up living a comfortable, privileged life, but my little sister had to face a completely different reality. While I was in university, spending freely and having fun, but when her time to be happy in her teenage life she had to struggle through her own journey. Now, everything has changed. She’s had to sacrifice her university life, and both of us are working to support the entire family. I feel deeply sorry and guilty for what she’s had to go through. What broke me the most was seeing her repost this… I’m so sorry, my babe. On top of that, my dad’s eyesight problems have worsened, and my mom became paralyzed. Before my sister started working, I suddenly became the breadwinner. There were days I couldn’t even afford a proper meal. I wore the same pair of slippers for months, holding them together with rubber bands until payday. Thank you, my little sister, for standing by me and sharing this heavy responsibility, even though you deserve so much better. ❤
