When I worked at McDonald’s. The ice coffie was next to the tea. Someone order tea and my coworker filled it up with ice coffee on accident. They said we did it as a joke I apologized offerd to get him a new one. After I did I very nicely told him to have a good night he took offense to this and dumbed his larger drink all over the counters and said you have a good night and left

I worked at a fast food place during covid there was a coin shortage I told every customer who came through the drive-thru that they need to have exact change or pay with card as we had very little coins we also had signs posted at the drive-thru speaker and the two windows plus you were verbally informed. this lady comes through orders her food I explained it to her she said that is fine and then comes up to my window I informed her of her total and she paid with cash her change was supposed to be $5.01 but we had no pennies I explained that to her and told her I can give her the five dollars she yelled and screamed at me saying I'm stealing her money and that I either give her the penny or refund her whole order because it's not right that we cannot give her a penny. mind you there were no pennies in the entire restaurant because it was a national coin shortage thankfully customers always throw their change on the ground outside so I told her to get out of the car pointed to a penny told her to pick it up which she did and I said there's your change. she was not happy

a good friend of mine found out he's allergic to coffee after someone launch the coffee they order back at him through the drive through window. instant anaphylaxis reaction. his manager thought he was being dramatic and wouldn't even let him leave to clean off the coffee in his face, at first, cause "there was a line." 🙄 even after he got dizzy and stumbled hard into a counter, she wouldn't let him leave. a coworker with a child with special needs comes in, doesn't say anything, and just drag him to the urgent care (it was closer) manager threatened to fire them both for "shift abandonment" but they got their states version of OSHA involved, and even though it took 4 months, she got fired. made his life hell the entire time.

ive been working in automotive parts for 6 years now. I once had a lady call asking if we price matched. I told her that we did and all she had to do was bring in a quote from our competitor and I would price match the part. she ten proceeded to tell me that she already bought the part and installed it and she wanted $1 because our competitors were $1 cheaper. I politely explained that if the part had already been installed, I could not price match. she proceeded to tell me, "im on my way and im getting my damn dollar."

Had a lady get mad because the price that rung up (which was the sticker price) was 10 cents more than she thought. I Instead of calling a manager to approve a price change i gave her a quarter out of my pocket. She lost it and started screaming.

Years ago I worked at a&w and a customer asked for no pickles they brought the burger back saying there was pickles on it when there wasn’t. They then said put pickles on it so I did and the customer complained we put pickles on the burger and demanded the meal be refunded

To be fair it would be cool if we did get a refund for expired food if we didn’t/couldn’t eat it before hand, but to expect it just sounds entitled

I work at a zoo that does close encounters. We had a lady that sat with the participants during the debriefing before going in and was mad when the keeper closed the door in her face. You have to pay extra to go in and are given wristbands (she didn’t have one) and she got mad at the ticket person because she “didn’t want to read the info about the encounter.” She didn’t even ask a worker, just assumed she’d be able to go in.
