Sheep farming isn’t the same as fox farming. Vintage or hunted furs are an exception but there’s difference between a whole domesticated meat animal (sheep, cow, etc) being processed vs a fox raised specifically for fur. Rabbits are different because they’re a domesticated meat animal.

It’s not the same thing! Leather mostly comes from the food industry, so it actually serves a purpose. Fur animals, on the other hand, are bred—usually in awful conditions just to get thicker fur—and killed purely for fashion, like your hat.
