What we ALL could be... 💙 Goodness, imagine the possibilities. It feels like everything is on fire and hyenas are closing in and everyone is running but we're exhausted and we're dizzy and suddenly, we are all on the highest ledge, maniacally looking down and around and at one another, talking at the same time, sort of expecting someone braver - or maybe crazier - to go first and jump while we hurry-pray for water to be below to catch them (while selfishly relieved it's them before it's us that'll figure it out ). Why?? Why don't we look up more, where there's so much hope, mercy, grace, gentleness, kindness, joy, faith, peace, and overwhelming love first, and let Him guide us forward, together? IMPO ~ we are all control freaks with similar goals but no one here really has any control. Sure, we think it, we try to convince ourselves that surely we are capable, we own our lives, it's all on us to fix everything - the mistakes of the past, the rocky present, any prayer for any future - but it's bs; we need to trust Him and thank Him more, especially when the darkness comes and surrounds us and snarls ~ He is our light and our way... He knows. He isn't ignoring any of this. There's a reason we can't comprehend. IDK. I have zero answers, so speaking for myself, just for now as the weight of all this sorrow seeps and thickens & when evil tries to charge me, I'm going to try harder to just BE STILL, hand over all that I can to Him, and KNOW.
