before 1994 at schools there was subjects such as wood work, home economics, where kids were taught to sew, cook, etc. its skills that needed. then comes anc abolished hand skills and lowered the pass rate. anc changed the laws on how to deal with badly behaved kids, it gives kids more rights. thats why kids do whst they do at school.

The first thing the ANC government should have done was to improve the quality of education and training for all South Africans. Grade 1 - 12 for poor families should have been free and technical training also to be free for all people. There should have been no need to decrease the pass mark to 30%. An educated nation is an independent nation.
