RobbysWorld :
I watched your trinity video. I think you and Mormons have a very similar belief about the trinity.

E4 :
The BoM teaches that faith is a seed you plant, then you experience the good fruits that follow to know you’re on the right path. I’m LDS not because I think the BoM “proves” anything decisively (it’s a powerful witness of Christ’s divinity, but it still requires faith). I’m LDS because of the astoundingly joyful and miraculous fruits that I *experience* every day by placing my faith in Jesus Christ and the tenets of His restored gospel.

“the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion” what is a keystone? Something that holds an arch way together and without it the arch collapses.

The Book of Mormon is a record of several groups of people who were Christians. The Gospel of Jesus Christ was not a brand new teaching taught for the first time by Christ Himself, but rather was taught before this world was, it was taught to Adam and Eve, it was taught to and by Abraham Isaac and Jacob, etc. The most important event recorded in the Book of Mormon was Christ coming to His “other sheep” (Jn 10) as recorded in 3 Nephi 11-27. He taught the ppl in the Americas the same doctrine He taught in the old world. He even taught the sermon on the Mount (because He is the same yesterday today and tomorrow, He would naturally teach the same teachings). There is one key difference between the two. In Matthew 5:48 says “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect” indicating God the Father is perfect but Jesus Christ was not perfect yet, because He grew grace for grace and He had not yet completed His mission here on earth of the Atonement and resurrection. 3 Nephi 12:48 reads “Therefore I would that ye should be perfect EVEN AS I, or your Father who is in heaven is perfect”. Jesus Christ gave this sermon AFTER He had completed the atonement of His death for all our sins and resurrection so that we might live again, He was now perfect as His Father is. This is so nuanced and a profoundly important distinction that if Joseph Smith were just copy and pasting from the Bible would not have added in.
