This was not a downfall. This storyline is what post grads/20 somethings feel on a daily basis. Not everyone has a perfectly laid out path in front of them. This was a very relatable storyline.

This is lowkey sooooo freaking REAL. For her not to get a happy ending while being driven and given many opportunities, that’s real life. It doesn’t work sometimes even when you are given all the tools.

My opinion is that if Rory hadn’t had a rich family background and the right last name, she would never have made it to the Ivy League. Mitchum Hanzberger wasn’t wrong. She’s is smart yes, but nothing more than a medium student in Yale. She isn’t exceptional.
