The way tv/advertising people did not understand new music in the 80s was gas. Their idea of hip hop was just a disjointed noise. I can imagine some Don Draper type guy with the same accent as the voiceover man, sat in his office, pressing buttons on a synthesiser & thinking, yes - this will get the young people on our side 😂😂😂
