To all the non Venezuelan’s pitching into this conversation and imposing your privileged opinions and moral superiority, instead of imposing your puritan rhetoric on an extremely nuanced subject and talking over Venezuelans that are sharing their thoughts on an issue that only us truly understand because we’re the only ones that lived under Chavez and Maduro, why don’t you tell me what’s your suggestion of who we should follow? Every single civilian is at risk of being kidnapped, never to be seen again by their loved ones just because they oppose Maduro. People extorted, persecuted, tortured, kidnapped and killed every single day; living with constant fear of leaving their houses and not knowing if it would be the day that they won’t come back. We’ve seen this story before… . If she gains political power, in exchange for US support she will likely sign over massive amounts of land and natural resources to the US and the profit will go to private companies. In fact, she said that she would be willing to privatize as much as possible. That means that prosperity won’t really go to the people of Venezuela but rather to private companies …. Same old story, same kind of leader.
