Sorry guys as a huge Buffy fan I have a feeling this is going to be awful. Joss wedon is not involved and his writing show succeeded. SMG isnt a good producer. Three of her comeback shows were all canceled in the last decade or so.

From what I've seen so far it's about a new slayer and her friends do buffy isn't even the main star and I feel like it's gonna be like hocus pocus 2 ruined by making it so modern and woke that its originality is lost 😭

This makes me so happy! I trust SMG, even if the show is different and for a younger audience I don't care! Love and respect will be put in and that's all we can ask for. Not everyone will be happy but new fans are just as important if not more than the OG fans. The world needs more Buffy and I'm so excited that I get to experience the continuation of a show that means so much to me personally.

one of the things Buffy did well was create its own language that got absorbed into popular culture. I think one of their biggest problems is going to be trying to use the language of the Gen Z or Alphas. if they stay away from that, that will be a good step
