Even with a duvet cover, bacteria, sweat, and dead skin can build up inside over time — especially in humid climates. 🧺 How to wash it properly:
• Check the care label — most inserts are machine washable.
• Use cold water, delicate cycle, and a gentle detergent.
• Dry on low heat with dryer balls, and fluff every 30 minutes to keep it evenly dried.
• If possible, finish drying it in the sun — UV rays help brighten the fabric and naturally kill bacteria 🌤️ ✨ Extra tips:
• Make sure your insert has no small tears before washing (they can get worse).
• If it’s too bulky for your washer, try a laundromat with large machines.
