I grew up white, but my grandma was a quarter sak and fox, and my grandpa was a quarter Cherokee, so they were both intent on teaching me everything they could. and the coolest thing I ever learned was that as you work with a loom, you imbue the threads with your thoughts. each line up and down and under or over holds meaning as to what you're thinking in that moment, and then you can pass it down to your children, and so on.
