Let me tell something, the main reason why all this infections are caused by tampons is because the clotted blood ( that big tick blood that comes out on your period) is not coming out freely, it is supposed to be released but trapped inside cos tampons can only absorb the liquid blood not the clotted ones . So it’s stay inside for a long period of time , then bacteria start growing on it , after a while it will be then infected . I think this could be the cause for the swelling or cyst. In my own opinion tho

Sis sorry for what happened to u but my dear, read your tampon and pad packs, u are susceptible to infections when u don’t use it properly. You are being paranoid and it’s understandable but please educate yourself better, women have cysts with or without tampons also.
