Your shape brings me back to my mom. She was born in 39 and always wore that shape. She said it makes your nails look longer. Good for a typing secretary. She also said it was the fashion of her days.

Your nail shape is just short stiletto nails, which a ton of people have, so I don’t know why people find it so weird plus you obviously love vintage polish so it makes sense for you to have a vintage nail shape.

I'm thinking they probably used wood in the war because most of the metal went to make war items that were needed. that's what happened in Europe so I expect it was the same in the USA.
